Irina Jiménez

Hi every one! Welcome to my blog! My name is Irina Jiménez and I'm an English teacher.

I studied at "Francisco de Miranda" University for 4 years and a half, and then I get my degree in English as a Foreign Language on December 2010.

On January 2011, I started to work at Alpha Learning here in Coro as the teacher of the children's classroom. At the beginning, I didn't feel so excited about it because, when I leave the University, I was convinced that I will teach adults, but not. I was working there to teach children, which was a bad new for me. But the months were passing and I discovered that kids are the best, no matter what!

I had had few experiences teaching adults. One of them was in my professional practices and also teaching in a local High School for a couple of days. The rest of my experiences are based on teaching children.

Today, I work by myself every afternoon, in my house, where a living room was completely changed into a children's classroom.

I'm a happy teacher with happy kids!
